The Photograph Collection of the Sports Museum has over 200,000 photographs, ranging from the 19th century to modern days. Most of the material predates the 1970's.

The Photograph Collection also includes the official photographic material from the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki, over 10,000 pictures in all.
