The Sports Museum Foundation of Finland is an institution dedicated to store, catalogue, research and put on display objects and archive material relating to sports and physical culture in Finland. The Foundation maintains the Sports Museum, the Sports Archives and the Sports Library of Finland.

As a national specialised museum, the Sports Museum Foundation of Finland gives support and guidance to other museums and co-ordinates their work in its field of expertise.
